YJP Junior Olympics Nationals Grant Application

Purpose:

The YJP aims to support promising youg rising athletes, especially those who face financial barriers, who plan on competing at this year’s Junior Olympics. Through this grant, YJP hopes to ensure that talented young judokas have the opportunity to pursue their goals on the national stage.

Grant Award Amount:

Grants will be given in amounts of $500 to promising youth athletes and those in need.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be under 21 years old during the calendar year of application. Eligibility is strictly based on birth year, not the exact age of athlete on day of application.

• Applicants must solely use the grant award towards attending the 2026 USA Judo Junior Olympics Nationals(transportation, board, etc).

Application Process & Timeline:

• Applications Open: March 10th

• Application Deadline: May 20th

• Scholarship Award Announcement: TBD
